This website is permanently updated, reflecting the knowledge of its author about portuguese military medals.

As this project is in constant progress, it doesn’t pretend to answer all the questions about the subject, but insists in travelling into that world.

We also want to honor the men and women of the 3 branches of the Portuguese Armed Forces who, everyday, since the XII century, have been defending our land, maintaining the independence and sovereignty of Portugal.

Essentially, this is a website made by a beginner and curious collector, with the simple objective of honoring his father, Lieutenant-Colonel Henrique José de Brito Guerreiro Quinta-Nova (Cavalry), in living memory (1941-2006).
